Gladwins
have many years experience at painting and repairing 'crash
damaged' racing cars.
They have undertaken the full paintwork restoration of Michael
Schumacher 1997 F1 car together with updating the paintwork
on a 2003 Jaguar F1 show car. The experience gained using
car chassis jigs has been very valuable when repairing race
cars on the jig. Many badly damaged race cars have been repaired
including a Porsche that hit the Donnington Park tyre wall
at 130mph!
Repairing such cars is a lot cheaper than starting a new build
project and also a lot quicker.
Such repairs frequently use fibre glass, aluminium and other
specialist fabrication techniques.
Over the years, Gladwins have continued to keep Martin Short
of 'Rollcentre Racing' on the track in pristine condition.
