GLADWINS PROVIDE BODY AND SOUL TO FRINGE IN THE FEN!

Gladwins is pleased to sponsor Fringe in the Fen, a new music and arts festival in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Gladwins will be sponsoring the John Rutter performance on Saturday 9th July. John Rutter, is a world renowned composer and conductor who recently performed at the Carnegie Hall, Easter Sunday Concert, in New York. This is one of only four events prior to his attendance at the Fringe in the Fen music and arts festival in Fenstanton from 9-16 July.
Harvey Death, Managing Director of Gladwins, said, "We are delighted to be sponsoring the John Rutter performance at the Fringe in the Fen. Not only is the festival attracting renowned musicians to play at the event which can be enjoyed by our customers in East Anglia, it is also encouraging all ages and abilities to enjoy a days singing and all for a worthwhile cause!"
The event organiser said "It is only possible for Fringe in the Fen to combine great music with a great cause thanks to the generosity of local businesses. The sponsors now total 18 and these allow all of the ticket sales to be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support."
The John Rutter event will involve A Come-and-Sing day. Singers of all ages and abilities will have a chance to gather together and sing just for fun, enjoying a range of music old and new, familiar and unfamiliar. There is no formal concert to worry about, and no auditions - you just turn up at the door and enjoy a days singing.
The John Rutter Come and Sing Day will take place at the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul on Saturday 9 July from 10.00-4.00pm. Tickets cost £20 and will include a one hour lunch break, where an optional ploughman's lunch will be available for £5. Please book in advance. Sheet music will be provided free of charge on the day.
